Medici Ventures is looking for a Senior Software Developers who will be the technical backbone of a small, agile teams, usually 5-6 people strong. We strive to leverage the best technologies from the open source ecosystem, create forward-thinking and innovative software solutions utilizing blockchain technology in the areas of capital markets, money & banking, identity, land, voting, and underlying technology for e-commerce problems, and empower every team member to push the envelope forward.

What You Will Do

  • Design, create, enhance, and maintain applications, RESTful services, data pipelines, and data repositories that can scale

  • Devise technical solutions for business needs

  • Write maintainable code

  • Mentor and collaborate with teammates

  • Learn, evaluate, and introduce new technologies and techniques

What You Should Have

  • Experienced C++ developer with at least 5 years in professional software development.

  • Bachelor's Degree or better in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

  • Strong analytical thinking, coding skills, problem-solving, and commitment to best practices

  • Exceptional expertise in at least one programming skillset, such as performance tuning, architecting scalable systems, designing and refactoring for high code quality, working with big data, framework design, development process, or anything else you mastered to break through barriers in your past projects

  • Tech StacK: C++, Qt, Python

What We Hope You Have

  • Node.js / JavaScript experience

  • Cryptocurrency / Blockchain experience

  • Record of going beyond the minimum of rote corporate development. For example, expertise in inner workings of technology used, engagement with the coding community, open source contributions, innovation, software craftsmanship, or past leadership experience. Show us the passion.

  • Ability and willingness to communicate clearly, assertively, and receptively with teammates, management, product owners, and people throughout the organization
